About the role:

Fixed‑term role covering an internal secondment until April 2027.

 

As a Trade Activation Lead, you’ll support the build of the annual retail campaigns for Four Square and PAK’nSAVE and coordinate the promotional planning process. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution, opportunities and deliver campaigns that resonate with our customers.

 

You’ll join a team of five, combining strategic oversight with hands – on coordination ensuring our Merchandise trading teams and stakeholders within our Four Square and PAK’nSAVE banners are heard and well informed throughout the promotion planning and execution process.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Build, maintain and support the annual Four Square and PAK’nSAVE campaign schedule to deliver on banner objectives
  • Lead the annual promotional planning process and promotional meetings
  • Provide timely reporting and maintain accurate documentation to support promotional implementation
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant tools and systems to optimise processes

 

About you:

You’ll be a proactive and organised professional with an understanding of promotions, retail customers and theability to manage complex processes while building strong relationships. Ideally you’ll also have:

 

  • Experience in FMCG or a similar retail industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong influencing ability
  • Proven organisational skills and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • A collaborative working style and a drive for performance excellence.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (E.g Bcom – Marketing) preferred but not essential
