TSI Logistics is a fast-paced transport operation involving a large fleet of delivery vehicles and quality people, that are the driving force behind Foodstuffs South Island Supply Chain network.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Support Specialist to join our team, based at our Hornby Distribution Centre. This role is critical to keeping our heavy vehicle fleet operational and in excellent condition. Your responsibilities will include the coordinating of repairs, keeping maintenance schedules on track, and ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained. We're seeking someone who excels in both technical challenges and communication, with expertise in heavy vehicles and compliance regulations, essential for ensuring safety and fleet efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform inspections and maintenance of the vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with the TSI team and service providers for the scheduling, repair and up keep of the heavy vehicle fleet.
- Ensure all maintenance schedules are met and repairs are addressed in a timely fashion.
- Ensure all contractors on site meet the health and safety standards. Liaise with maintenance teams for repairs to facility equipment.
- Address ad hoc repair needs, offer support to drivers, and undertake additional projects as required.

About you:
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of heavy vehicle fleets.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle compliance and performance.
- Experience in audit and review processes to maintain service quality.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Experience using Eroad essential
- Experience using Cooltrax desired
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams to promote best practices in health, safety.
- Must hold a NZ Class 5 Licence.
