Senior Retail Customer Service Representative
About the role:
Reporting to the Retail Customer Service Team Leader in our Retail & Property team, your main objective will be to support the wider customer service team in responding to general customer and store enquiries. Additional responsibilities include managing online timeslot requests, escalated customer complaints, and additional tasks in relation to our Christmas Club and loyalty programmes.
This role combines the general customer service representative role, and senior responsibilities. Time will be spent both off and on queue.
When on-queue, you will use your people skills to build and maintain relationships with retail customers and store contacts through our various communication channels including through live chat, emails and phone calls.
When off-queue, you will work proactively with internal and external stakeholders including the retail customer service team, digital services, retail banner managers, deployment teams and business partners, project teams and member stores.
This is a Full Time, six month Fixed - Term role covering Parental Leave
About you:
You’ll be a confident and skilled people leader who enjoys working in a fun and inclusive team environment. Ideally you will also have:
- Leadership qualifications and/or experience in a leadership role
- Prior experience in customer service roles and/or the grocery sector
- A high degree of accuracy and attention-to-detail is essential
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- A professional telephone manner
- Committed to delivering a superior customer experience
