About the role:
As the Senior Property Project Manager you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of retail and property projects across the Foodstuffs South Island network. These projects could include new store developments, fit – outs and refurbishments.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll bring together internal teams, consultants and contractors to delivery high-quality projects that align with our strategy and Store Owner needs. You’ll oversee and ensure every project is delivered om time, within budget and to the highest standard.
This is a 9 month Fixed - Term role covering Parental Leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end to end delivery of retail and property projects across the Foodstuffs network.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and risks
- Lead stakeholder engagement across internal teams, consultants, contractors and Store Owners.
- Ensure all projects meet compliance, health and safety and quality standard requirements.
About you:
You’ll be an experienced project and construction professional who thrives on bringing complex projects to life. You’re skilled at keeping people aligned, supported, and moving in the same direction to deliver great results. Ideally you’ll also have:
- A high level of attention to detail with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of building regulations, design and fit out processes, ideally within a retail or operational environment.
- Ability to use initiative, self-motivation and accountability across multiple streams of work.
- Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
