About the role:
As a Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll collaborate with the team members across our Transport and Supply Chain divisions to support in embedding a culture of health, safety, and wellness. You’ll proactively build positive relationships across the business – coaching our team on Health & Safety best practice and ensuring a collaborative and consistent delivery of key Health & Safety initiatives. Your role will also include:
- Partnering with our contractors to ensure they meet our H&S expectations
- Conducting incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk management in the workplace and providing recommendations for suitable controls and corrective actions
- Collaborating with our leadership team on improvement projects, striving to achieve win/win outcomes between safety and operations
- Coaching and upskilling our Supply Chain team in the management of hazards, incident investigations and corrective actions
Reporting to our Supply Chain Health & Safety manager, you’ll be joining a team six fun and lively H&S professionals who are committed to our goal of getting everyone “Home Safe Everyday”.
About you:
We’re looking for the right fit for our team – so you might have 1 years’ experience in an advisory role, or you might be a Senior Advisor ready for a change. We’re proud of our team, and we’re looking for that right person who can add to our vibrant team culture. Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role in FMCG, Transport or Supply Chain is a bonus as we can teach you what you don’t know about our industry! Ideally, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience partnering and coaching key stakeholders on H&S best practice
- Relevant H&S qualifications and a working knowledge of the Health & Safety Work Act 2015 and its amendments
- Experience conducting incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk management in the workplace
- Strong communication and influencing skills – you’ll be able to bring people on the journey of safety
