Senior Customer Insights Analyst
About the role:
As a Senior Customer Insights Analyst, you and your team of Analysts are responsible for delivering high quality insights across key workstreams such as category reviews, campaign performance, pricing & promotional effectiveness and customer shopping behaviour. Working closely with the trading team, you’ll help drive and support both category and campaign performance and strategy and improve key KPIs by identifying opportunities, trends and challenges that influence commercial decisions.
As a leader, you’ll set and review the excellence standards for work outputs and guide the team’s workflow and priorities, all whilst ensuring the delivery of timely and actionable insights and champion the use of customer data across the business to support smarter decision – making stronger outcomes for banners.
The role is a 12 month Fixed - Term role covering Parental Leave
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration curiosity and continuous learning
- Support team members in building capability and excellence across analytical tools, methodologies and data interpretation
- Partner closely with the trading teams to deliver high impact insights that support category and banner strategies and commercial performance
- Lead the delivery of insights for category reviews, ensuring timely and relevant analysis aligned with business schedules
- Monitor and communicate macro trends and consumer behaviour patterns across business
- Delivery clear and concise monthly performance reporting highlighting key metrics, insights and opportunities
About you:
You’re a commercially minded analyst who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights that influence decisions. You’re just as comfortable leading a team as you are diving into data, and you thrive when working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business. Ideally you’ll also have:
- Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience leading analytical projects that influenced commercial outcomes
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross – functional teams.
- Experience identifying market trends and consumer behaviour patterns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
