About the role

 


In this vital role within our communications team, you will create and execute strategic internal communication plans in line with our co-op’s strategic objectives and priorities, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and partner organisations. 

 

Your responsibilities will include leading the distribution of key messages and important information throughout the cooperative, reaching supplier partners, members, and internal teams. You will manage the production of professional presentations and content for the Board, CEO, and executive leadership, ensuring that all communications are impactful, relevant, and strategically coherent.

 

This position offers a unique opportunity to bring your communications, influencing, event management and stakeholder engagement experience to deliver excellent outcomes for our cooperative. 
 

About you

 

  • A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in communications, media, journalism, or stakeholder relations.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies from start to finish.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Proven track record in crafting content for events and coordinating exceptional event experiences.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with an ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.
  • Team player with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
