Retail Accountant
About the role
As a Retail Accountant you’ll play an important part in supporting our retail markets, ensuring financial accuracy, strong reporting and practical accounting guidance. You’ll also get exposure to projects and systems, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building strong workplace relationships.
You’ll be apart of a supportive team environment that values quality, collaboration and delivering great service to our members.
Key accountabilities:
- Preparing annual financial statements for retail markets
- Maintaining fixed asset schedules
- Preparing Income Tax, GST and FBT Returns
- Completing other compliance-related accounting work as required
- Providing day to day accounting support and advice to retail market
About you
You’ll bring both strong technical capability and a great service mindset. Ideally you’ll also have:
- Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns (Income Tax, GST,FBT)
- A tertiary level qualification in Accounting and CA qualification preferred.
- Experience with MYOB
- SAP experience desirable, but full training will be provided
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
