Product Data Optimisation Analyst
About the role:
As the Product Data Optimisation Analyst to play a key role in improving the quality, consistency and effectiveness of our product data across the co-op. This role sits at the intersection of data, process and people, working closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our data supports great decisions and strong retail results.
You’ll lead the enhancement of new processes and measurement frameworks across multiple business units ensuring changes are embedded and delivering outcomes we expect.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain how product data is structured and used.
- Identify data misalignment, risks and opportunities providing clear, practical recommendations.
- Lead and influence decisions relating to data and process change across the business.
- Review, implement and embed process changes.
- Provide regular analysis and reporting on data quality, alignment and risk.
About you:
You’ll be organised and comfortable working with data and a confident communicator. You enjoy problem solving and challenging the status quo. Ideally you’ll also have:
- Experience in the grocery or FMCG environment
- Strong understanding of data structures and experience in data analysis
- Demonstrated experience driving or supporting process improvement initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing and presentations
- Advanced Excel skills and strong computer system capability.
