About the role:

As the PAK’nSAVE Group Manager you’ll drive the brand performance across the South Island, ensuring stores deliver on strategy, customer experience and commercial results.

Directing the development and execution of innovative retail marketing and loyalty strategies, you’ll ensure customers are connected and fuel consistent growth across the PAK’nSAVE brand.

Reporting to the Head of Retail, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, working closely with owner operators and internal stakeholders to shape the future of one of NZ’s most iconic retail brands.

You’ll lead key meetings and build strong cross-regional connections through frequent South Island travel and monthly visits to the North Island.

About you:

You’ll bring strong FMCG experience, strategic agility and exceptional communication skills. You’ll know how to build strong and lasting partnerships, influence outcomes and lead for performance. Ideally you will also have:

  • Proven commercial acumen and retail strategy experience
  • Strong leadership and relationship management capabilities
  • The ability to engage stakeholders and deliver change effectively and on time
  • Comfortable promoting your ideas while remaining receptive to feedback and challenge
  • A collaborative, curious and improvement focused mindset
  • A desire to lead meetings and planning sessions, using your voice to align teams and drive action
