About the role:

As the New World Marketing Assistant, you’ll lead work with key internal and external partners, along with our stores to deliver world class shopping and awesome retail experiences. With a specific South Island regional focus, you’ll work with other key stakeholders, including Foodstuffs New Zealand, agency partners and various Foodstuffs South Island (FSSI) teams to bring the New World brand to life. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Activate and communicate with our 43 stores throughout the South Island 
  • Embrace the 3x New World Customer Promises and deliver the New World plan 
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify trends & opportunities – including operations, support, finance, and comms 
  • Work on one of the most exciting marketing programmes in NZ!
     

About you:

We’re looking for someone with:

 

  • A passion for marketing & a desire to learn (linking commercial objectives and customer insights with detailed marketing initiatives that drive positive customer satisfaction outcomes) 
  • A passion for the brand, so you’ll be keen to understand key customer metrics and opportunities to engage in the Customer Driven transformation here at Foodies 
  • Confidence in articulating concepts and effectively collaborating others
  • Great team and personal leadership skills
