About the role:
As our Merchandise Data Intelligence Analyst, you’ll transform data into insights shaping strategy across our Merchandise Division. Reporting to the Merchandise Data Intelligence Lead, you’ll deliver reporting solutions and analysis that improves decision-making across pricing, promotions, supplier performance and category strategy.
This role is hands on combining technical expertise in tools such as Power BI, SQL and VBA with strong problem solving and storytelling skills. You’ll help improve and automate reporting, enhance efficiency, while looking to drive continuous improvement with clear visuals and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, improve and build reporting solutions in Power BI, Excel and other platforms
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of reporting outputs
- Review current processes, diving into their efficiencies and potential improvements
- Communicating with Category Managers, Customer Insights teams and the wider Merchandise business unit.
About you:
You’ll have experience working in a data, reporting or an analytically focused role. You’ll have a high level of self-drive and initiative with willingness and confidence to suggest and implement improvements to business processes. Ideally you will also have:
- Technical knowledge to communicate insights in a clear, actionable way.
- Someone who enjoys finding better ways of doing things, whether that’s through automation, process improvements, or fresh ideas.
- Skilled in reporting and automation using VBA, Power Query, and Power BI, with a proven ability to deliver clear insights and support process improvements.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and suggest improvements when you see them.
- Strong problem-solving and data storytelling skills, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
