Logisitics Coordinator
About the role:
As our Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be looking after the entire process for incoming containers. You'll be responsible for the containers movement once confirmed it’s on the way, onsite, unloaded and then returned.
You’ll joining a team of five based in our Hornby dry goods warehouse, reporting to the Ambient Inbound Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and prioritising containers based on business needs
- Acting at the primary contact for external storage and service providers
- Building and maintaining internal and external stakeholders' relationships
- Ensuring biosecurity policy requirements are met
Days of work will be Monday to Friday – 7am to 3.30pm
About you:
You’ll be a confident problem solver who can think on your feet and adapt to different situations. You’ll have no issue communicating and building relationships across different levels of the cooperative. Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Administration experience
- MPI/Biosecurity industry knowledge
- Experience with government compliance
- A current Full NZ Driver Licence
