About the role

 

This position is based at our Papanui Support Office and reports to the Trents Sales Manager. Trents works with Gilmours in the North Island to be the supply partner to a number of large scale national customers. With this business growing we need a dedicated person in our Trents team to work with the National Account team to ensure we are delivering on our customers’ needs and expectations. 

 

In this new role you will facilitate and support the activity between the National Account Team and all Trents teams for national key customers and represent Trents in communication with national customers.  You will also assist with all processes involved with supply to South Island based national customers, from tender responses and opening new accounts to looking at product ranging and reporting. 

What you’ll bring

 

You will have experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate a customer centric approach with proven success in a role dealing with large scale customers.  

 

You will have advanced capability in running and analysing sales data along with good commercial acumen to monitor profitability.  A collaborative working style is needed, with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.

 

If you have experience in the Foodservice or Grocery industry that would be a real advantage as would experience with CRM software and SAP.
