About the role


We have recently launched SAP SuccessFactors Suite and Payroll  including Workforce Rostering  across the Foodstuffs South Island Support Offices and Distribution Centres and Wholesale arm of the business.  We are working through a rollout programme to our PAK’nSAVE and New World stores across the South Island. 


This position manages the delivery of the HCM Systems and the relationships with the Vendor and the Implementation Partners.  It leads the team that researches, develops and determines the feasibilities of HCM technology advancements which could impact or benefit the Foodstuffs Cooperative.


Required to establish and implement the system procedures and techniques within the HCM environment that will improve performance and productivity.


  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT HCM Systems Team
  • Build, lead and develop a high performing team 
  • Responsible for availability and performance of core systems within HCM Systems
  • Provide expertise identify, plan, develop and deliver the best possible IT business applications

What we are looking for


An experienced and seasoned professional who has delivered and managed complex significant projects, to large businesses that span multiple locations.  The ability to see the rollout of a program of work, while also managing an evolving platform.


  • Significant IT Project Management or similar experience
  • Collaborative working style
  • Highly developed Leadership skills, including the ability to coach and mentor others
  • Demonstrated problem solving and strategic thinking
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • The ability to present and demonstrate to a variety of audiences.
