About the role:

This is an exciting leadership opportunity reporting to the Head of Health and Safety. This role leads the health and safety team supporting our Supply Chain, which includes distribution centres in Christchurch and Dunedin and our transport business.

Being a collaborative leader and influencer is critical in this role.  You will continue to deliver on our strategy, implementing improvements to better protect our team from harm and continue evolving our health and safety culture.  We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships and positively engage with our leaders.

About you:

  • An excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with leaders and team members, championing our focus on health and safety throughout the supply chain.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety risk management, supporting our leaders and teams to manage risk and ensure controls are in place and working.
  • A caring leader, supporting and coaching the supply chain health and safety team. 
  • Experienced in health and safety, with a good understanding of the risks present in logistics, warehousing and heavy transport.
