Grocery Manager - New World Halswell

 

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Grocery Department and we are looking for someone to join our leadership team as a Grocery Manager.

 

New World Halswell is located in a competitive and growing suburb. We are seeking for a innovative, dedicated and passionate candidate with the relevant experience to lead our Grocery Department. This role would ideally suit someone in an existing leadership role, looking to take the next step in their career. 

 

Days and hours for this position will be discussed at the interview. 

 

Key responsibilities Include:

 

  • Ensure the Grocery Department is presented to a very high standard at all times.
  • Organise and lead the Grocery Department.
  • Buying.
  • Display planning. 
  • Provide engaging leadership for all members of your team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Dry Goods Manager and Management team to achieve agreed financial KPI's.
  • Build positive relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the grocery team members are providing excellent customer service.
  • Look for food trends and other ways to provide unique offerings to our customers.
  • The implementation of our Food and Health and Safety requirements.
