Fresh Foods Innovation Advisor
About the role:
Foodies seeking foodie. Help us keep Fresh, fresh.
As our Fresh Foods Innovation Advisor, you'll shape what's next for our Fresh Foods offering across PAK'nSAVE, New World and Four Square. From trend spotting and new product ideas through to getting products into store, you'll play a key role in identifying what's next in food and turning it into something customers can actually buy.
This is a newly created role with plenty of room to put your stamp on it. You'll work closely with stores, suppliers and Support Office teams, turning good ideas into great products and making it easier to deliver them consistently across our Fresh departments.
You'll join an incredibly passionate team of Fresh Food experts who are highly experienced in their respective fields. Our advisors are all about coaching and supporting stores, sharing ideas, backing each other and having plenty of banter along the way
About you:
You're a foodie with hands-on experience working in a supermarket Fresh department, commercial kitchen, hospitality, food manufacturing environment, or building your own food-based side hustle. You're always keeping an eye on what's next, love a good food trend, and get a kick out of seeing a great idea come to life. Ideally, you'll also bring:
- Real-world food experience and a genuine passion for the industry
- A habit of spotting food trends before they hit the mainstream
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to keep projects moving from idea to launch
- The ability to get people on board and bring ideas to life
- Strong digital skills and curiosity about how AI can improve the way we work
- The confidence to back your ideas and challenge the status quo
Don't Meet Every Requirement? We encourage you to apply anyway. We are looking for individuals with diverse experiences and are keen to hear from those who believe they have the drive and potential to succeed in this role.
