About the role:

As a Freight Loader based at our Hornby Distribution Centre you'll ensure the safe, efficient and timely loading of all goods onto allocated vehicles while maintaining compliance with food safety policies and high standards of presentation. You'll make up a large team who are commited to ensuring deliveries meet the specified timeframes and paperwork is accurate at all times.  

 

The following 40 hour per week, 5 day shift patterns are avaliable:  

 

  • Sunday to Thursday : 2pm - 10.30pm
  • Tuesday to Friday : 2:00pm to 10:30pm & Saturday from 1:00pm to 9:30pm 

About you:

You'll be physically fit, safety-focused and keen to build your career in freight, logistics and warehousing. You'll take pride in working accurately, staying organised, and contributing to a team that keeps goods moving efficiently.

Ideally you'll also have:

 

  • A strong commitment to health and safety and following established procedures.
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to accurately match freight and documentation.
  • The ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
  • A proactive approach to maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas.
