Food Safety Officer

 

Part-Time 20 Hours PW

 

Are you experienced working with Food Safety Compliance?

 

Do you have strong organisational skills, can develop strong systems and are you looking for a change or a fresh new challenge?

 

As part of our focus on providing top quality products, we require a knowledgeable and committed person to actively lead our Food Safety Plan.

 

This is a permanent position which will include some after-hours shifts. Industry training in relevant areas will be a major advantage. Knowledge of SAP and experience of the Foodstuffs Food safety plan would also be an advantage. 

 

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, self-confident team player who enjoys the challenges of running a critical function of a leading supermarket. You will have significant responsibility and will need to possess the appropriate skills to lead the daily operations of this busy role in our store. 

 

You will ideally, but not necessarily, have worked within in a supermarket environment and can demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Attention to detail

 

The key responsibilities of the successful applicant include:

  • Ensuring the highest standards of Food Safety are achieved and maintained 
  • Organising, leading and coaching of staff
  • Ensuring that Audits are passed and that we are setting the standards that others aspire to.
  • Ensure that all legislative requirements are met
  • Evaluation of our level of conformity with the requirements in the approved Foodstuffs custom Food Control Plan as appropriate, for the operation of a retail supermarket.
