About the role:
As our Enterprise SAP Access Lead, you’ll bring clarity and cohesion to a capable team that’s ready to move forward. You’ll guide how SAP access is designed and governed across the cooperative - ensuring it’s secure, scalable, and fit for purpose.
You’ll lead, coach, and develop a team of SAP Roles Specialists, helping them align on priorities, build trust, and deliver work that supports the wider business. The role blends technical depth with people leadership, and you’ll work closely with Cybersecurity, IAM, Product Leads and audit teams to ensure access is well-managed and compliant.
Key accountabilities:
- Oversee the full SAP role lifecycle – design, deployment, review, and retirement
- Drive standardised role design and governance practices across the cooperative
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, IAM, and audit teams to ensure secure access and compliance
- Use analytics to identify trends, reduce complexity, and optimise role management
- Contribute to future-focused SAP initiatives, including identity management and S/4HANA upgrades
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure business goals are met while working within our corporate governance guidelines
About you:
You’ll be someone who thrives on structure, delivery, and bringing people together. You’ll bring deep SAP expertise and a collaborative leadership style that helps teams move forward with clarity and confidence. Ideally, you’ll also bring:
- Proven experience in the SAP ecosystem, including roles and authorisations (e.g. S/4HANA, HCM, Payroll, SuccessFactors, BTP)
- Good understanding of SAP roles setup and governance (use of technical catalogues, spaces and pages etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally in delivery-focused environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to influence, coach, and unify diverse opinions
- A commitment to knowledge sharing and reducing silos
