Data Delivery Lead
About the role:
As the Data Delivery Lead you’ll be accountable for the end to end delivery of data and analytics initiatives that enable better decision making across the co-operative. Sitting at the intersection of business, engineering and analytics, this role plays a critical part in turning strategy into high quality usable data products that deliver real business value.
You’ll provide delivery leadership across a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring work is well planned, prioritised and delivered with confidence. Working closely with business leaders, architects and technical teams you’ll manage dependencies, risks and trade offs while maintaining a strong focus on outcomes, quality and flow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the end to end delivery of data and analytics initiatives, from initiation through to deployment and transition to support.
- Partner with business and data leaders to shape delivery plans, sequencing and priorities aligned to organisational strategy and member outcomes.
- Align delivery activity with the Data & Analytics roadmap, ensuring initiatives support long term platform objectives.
- Actively manage delivery risks, dependencies and trade-offs across multiple initiatives and teams.
- Coordinate data engineering delivery risks, dependencies and trade-offs across multiple initiatives and teams.
About you:
You’re a confident delivery leader who brings structure, momentum and clarity to complex data environments. You’ll build trust naturally, communicate clearly and know how to keep moving in matrixed environments. Ideally you’ll also have:
- Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of complex data and analytics initiatives in large or matrixed organisations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear delivery assurance at all levels.
- Hands on experience with data engineering and business intelligence solutions with enough depth to understand design decisions and delivery trade-offs.
- Practical experience working with SAP, Google products, modern data platforms, cloud based analytics environments, data pipelines, data warehouses and BI tools.
