We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Customer Service Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure every customer walks out with a smile.

 

About the Role:

 

As Customer Service Manager, you’ll be the face of the store. You’ll lead by example, manage a large dynamic team, and deliver an exceptional experience for every customer. From overseeing checkouts, lotto and customer service counters to handling queries and improving processes, this is a hands-on role that requires passion, strong leadership, and a customer-first mindset.

 

This is a fulltime role which would include one weekend day.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the Customer Service team to deliver outstanding service
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of checkout and front-of-house services
  • Manage customer queries and resolve complaints with professionalism and care
  • Drive a culture of positivity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor and report on service metrics and customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with other department managers to ensure seamless store operations

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in retail or customer service
  • A genuine passion for customer experience and community engagement
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Experience with rostering, training, and team development
