Cross Dock Workflow Supervisor

About the role:

As the Cross Dock Workflow Supervisor, you will ensure that all activities in the chiller are being carried out in the most efficient, effective, and safe manner.

This position is to create an atmosphere of teamwork between each activity and actively grow our DC culture through their ‘people’ first approach.

Key Responsibilities

•    Provide leadership and direction to the team.
•    Plan and coordinate daily workflow of the TCDC Operations
•    Demonstrate, promote, and seek to improve workplace Health and Safety
•    Manage workflow requirements, as directed by Managers and Team Leaders
•    Motivate, organise, and encourage teamwork between DC departments and shifts
•    Identify improvement opportunities to increase productivity within the department

This is a 10-month fixed term role providing cover for an internal secondment. 

Days of work: Monday to Friday, 12:45 – 10:15pm (45 hours per week)

About you:

•    A strong understanding of our DC operations systems 
•    Operational experience at a Supervisory level within a large DC operation
•    Have strong written and oral communication skills
•    Computer skills to a reasonable level with word, excel and PowerPoint 
•    A strong desire to develop a positive workplace culture within a team environment
