We are a busy Christchurch supermarket looking for a motivated and friendly individual to join our fantastic Chilled, Frozen and Liquor (CFL) team as our Chilled, Frozen & Liquor Assistant Manager.

You will be supporting the Chilled, Frozen and Liquor Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
The successful applicant will need to have knowledge of FMCG industry, preferably having worked in a supermarket inventory department and able to demonstrate the following attributes:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a team and developing effective rostering
- Managing the daily ordering of stock and dealing with suppliers
- Negotiating promotional activity
- Ability to achieve sales targets and meet profitability budgets.
- Maintaining a high standard of merchandising.
- Maintaining of our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards.
- This position reports directly to the Chilled, Frozen & Liquor Manager.
Requirements:
- Willingness to stay later if required to meet workload demands.
- Strong computer skills are required
- Experience in SAP4Hana is preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Applicants must hold New Zealand Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid New Zealand Work Permit.
This role is a full-time role, Tuesday to Saturday.
