We are seeking a motivated person who can assist our Checkout Management Team with the daily operations of our busy Checkout Department. We like to ensure that all customers experience the highest possible standards of service whilst shopping with us.

 

You will ideally, but not necessarily, have worked within a supermarket environment and can demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Dedication to customer service
  • Be able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High presentation standards
  • Organisation and planning skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Be a problem solver
  • Be computer competent

 

The key responsibilities of the successful applicant include:

 

  • Assist the Checkout Management Team in the successful supervision of staff
  • Assisting with Lotto
  • Responsible for upholding our legal requirements in regards to the Sale of Liquor Act and the Sale of Tobacco.

 

Your hours of work will be:

 

Wednesday 10:30am-7:00pm

 

Friday 11:00am-7:30pm

Saturday 1:30pm-10:00pm

Having a Duty Manager’s certificate would be beneficial, but is not a necessary requirement as full training will be given for this position.
