Checkout Supervisor – Part-Time

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for a passionate, energetic and customer-driven Checkout Supervisor to join our amazing Checkout team. This is a permanent part-time position where leadership or supervisory experience is essential.

 

We have multiple part-time roles available, all roles will include a closing shift so please include your availability in your application.

Your day-to-day:

 

  • Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer issues
  • Working with the Checkout Managers and other Supervisors to lead the Checkout team including providing feedback, coaching, training and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Checkout department
  • Completing varying tasks which may include checkout operating, packing, managing Self-Checkout lanes and Shop n Go, click and collect, Lotto, cleaning and trolleys
  • Being in sole charge of the Checkout department and being responsible for opening and closing the Checkout department as required

 

What we need from you:

 

  • At least 1-year experience in a customer service role in a position with responsibility, people management or a Supervisory role
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • The ability to work in a busy environment effectively 
  • Great communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Fantastic organization and resilience 
  • Holding a current LCQ and Duty Manager’s Certificate
