We are a busy Christchurch supermarket looking for a motivated and friendly individual to join our fantastic Checkout & Online team as our Checkout & Online Assistant Manager.
You will be supporting the Checkout & Online Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
The successful applicant will need to have knowledge or have worked in a supermarket environment and be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

- Good computer skills – ability to pick up programs with ease
In this role you be directly reporting to the Checkout & Online Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing a team and developing effective rostering
- Oversee all aspects of Checkouts/Online
- Responsible for regulatory compliance with the sale and supply of alcohol
- Maintaining of our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards within the department
- Maintaining accurate inventory of magazines and tobacco
- Performance of the checkout and online departments across a range of KPIs
