About the role:

As a Category & Promotions Planner, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of product ranges, pricing and promotions that resonate with our customers and align with our brand strategy. 

You’ll help optimise promotional performance, while contributing to the planning and execution of campaigns that drive sales, customer engagement and value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and maintenance of product, pricing, and promotional material across systems
  • Analyse sales and category performance to identify insights, confidently contributing ideas to improve future outcomes
  • Support and take ownership of the coordination and execution of retail campaigns within designated categories, adapting as priorities shift
  • Assist with maintaining joint business plans and tracking trade spend performance
  • Work cross-functionally to support range, space, and promotional optimisation initiatives
  • Contribute to the integration and ongoing management of private label products

About you:

You’ll be collaborative, detail-focused and proactive in your approach with a strong interest in category performance and customer behaviours. Ideally you will also have:

  • Ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Exposure to analysis, ideally in the FMCG or retail space
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • A knack for solving complex problems and delivering results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with dunnhumby is a plus)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. BCom) or equivalent experience
