About the role:

As a Category & Promotions Assistant, you'll help deliver promotional campaigns and category initiatives that shape what customers see across our retail network.

 

Reporting to a Category Manager, you'll maintain product data, coordinate communications to stores, and contribute to the smooth delivery of key trading activity.

 

Working alongside a team of planners, you'll gain exposure to the fast-paced FMCG industry while building commercial, merchandising and category management knowledge.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product, article, and pricing maintenance across merchandising systems.
  • Coordinate updates to ranging and new product introductions.
  • Administer private label activity and related documentation requirements.
  • Prepare communications to support retail execution across stores.
  • Support Category Managers and Planners with day-to-day category activities.

About you:

You may currently be working in a supermarket, retail, merchandising support, or administration role and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you also have:

 

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Intermediate level skills across Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and the wider Office suite.
  • An analytical mindset and confidence working with data.
  • Eager to learn and progress within your career.
