Cake Baker

We’re inviting applications for the position of Full-Time Cake Baker within our busy Supermarket.

What we are looking for:

• Are you an experienced Baker? You don’t have to be qualified to be a Rockstar Baker you know!
• Lengthy experience in the role will also see us having a chat with you.
• The successful applicant will have a primary focus on Cake Baking.
• Reliability, excellent time management, self motivation and the ability to work in a team environment are essential.
• You must have good personal presentation and a commitment in assisting to produce quality products.

Key responsibilities:

• Your duties will involve all aspects of Baking within the department from Bread to Cakes and everything in between.
• Emphasis on Cake baking and your ongoing experience with sweet products will see you at the top of the list.
• You must also be familiar with the appropriate Food Safety and Hygiene requirements applicable when working with food.

Hours:

• The rostered days and hours of work are Sunday to Thursday 5.00am to 2.30pm = 45 hours per week.
• Additonal hours may be required from time to time to cover busy periods and staff annual leave but plenty of notice will be given.
