Café Assistant – New World Ilam

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Café Assistant who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and being part of a supportive team. If you love good food, great coffee, and providing excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, efficient, customer focused service
- Prepare high quality coffee and beverages
- Food preparation, including our new Chicken & Chips offer
- Keep the café area clean, organised, and well presented
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain excellent food safety and health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, can do attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Able to stay calm and organised during busy periods
- Previous café or food service experience is an advantage, but not essential

Hours
Role 1 - This is a permanent position working Sunday to Thursday 6.30am-1.30pm (32.5 hours).
Role 2 - This is a permanent position working Tuesday to Saturday 6.30am-2.30pm (37.5 hours).
