About the role

 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a CCTV Support Advisor to join our high performing IT team.

 

We have an extensive CCTV implementation across 120 member and company sites.  The key purpose of this role is to maximise availability and efficiency of these systems for the hundreds of staff who use CCTV in support of their operational roles. As the number one liaison with users of CCTV this role will be involved in trouble shooting and problem solving, hence exceptional communication skills are required.

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Day-to-day support of CCTV recording systems including responding to user queries and camera and software troubleshooting
  • Provide training to ensure member stores and Foodstuffs staff are competent in using the system.
  • Coordinate third parties including technicians and camera companies
  • Test and configure new cameras including updating records and documentation 
  • Support project managers in the planning, implementation, monitoring and successful close-out of CCTV related installations.

What we are looking for:

 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience installing and using computers or relevant digital devices
  • Experience providing IT support or training
  • Skilled in time management, task identification and problem solving
  • Organised and methodical 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Related trade experience and/or retail experience is an advantage.
