Qualified Butcher

We are looking for a qualified Butcher to join our fantastic team in the Butchery Department.  Our supermarket is an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment with a high standard of quality products. This is a great opportunity for a motived, positive team player who understands and enjoys the challenges of supermarket butcher retailing. 

This role would suit someone who is quick on their feet with problem solving and loves interacting with customers, has a high level of work ethic and also focused on providing a high standard of work within the Butchery department. 

The role includes:

• Slicing, deboning and cutting meat 
• Maintaining the meat case and cabinets
• Provide excellent customer service 
• Traying up of meat
• A strong focus and understanding on Food Safety
• A strong focus and understanding on Health and Safety

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Qualified Butcher/Experienced Butcher
• Supermarket experience desired
• Strong organizational skills
• Physically fit to fulfill the requirements of the role
• Excellent communicator
• Reliability

This is a part-time position for Fridays & Saturdays
