We are seeking a qualified and experienced retail butcher to work with our busy and productive butchery team. This role entails working with our butchery team to ensure our customers have an excellent range of butchery products for our customers, produced to a high standard.

If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent time management skills, we’d love to hear from you!

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, which will include working on a Saturday and ideally a Sunday. Specific days and shift times are flexible and will be discussed during the interview process.

Key responsibilities include:

• ensuring our customers are our number one priority
• slicing, cutting and preparing meats for display
• ensuring our high, quality standards are maintained
• being able to assist customers with their selection and make recommendations 
• ensuring compliance with all health & safety and food safety procedures 

The successful candidate will:

• have the relevant qualifications and retail experience
• be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• have a personable and positive manner 
• demonstrate initiative and innovation
