Bulk Storeperson Dunedin
About the role:
Pick, pack, label, and wrap; get stock out the door and to our stores! Join us and do your part to feed the South Island.
As a Warehouse Operator in our Dunedin Distribution Centre, you will play an important role in getting our warehouse stock out to one of our 200+ stores across the South Island. Working out of our Dry Goods warehouse, your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Preparing and completing product orders (pick, pack, label, wrap)
- Bulk repetitive picking – heavy lifting up to 25kg
- Operating machinery and electric pallet jacks to move stock
- Keeping you and your team safe by following our Health and Safety guidelines
- Reach daily targets and contribute to feeding the South Island
The starting payrate is $26.79 per hour, dependent on experience, and we’ll provide the PPE too! Your hourly rate is reviewed after 6 months.
Shifts we're currently hiring for:
· Friday 13:15 – 2345 (10 hours per day)
· Sunday 0700-1730 (10 hours per day)
Our Storeperson roles are an awesome place to start your journey with Foodstuffs - with many of our team progressing onto roles right across our organisation.
About you:
As most of your shift will be spent on your feet and lifting heavy cartons, being physically fit and able to comfortably lift up-to 25kg is a requirement for this role.

- Able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
A Forklift license or experience in a similar role would be ideal but is not a deal breaker for us!
