We are seeking an experienced Baker who would enjoy the challenges of supermarket bakery retailing. 

We are a large Supermarket located in a competitive area and we need an innovative and customer-focused team member to join our Bakery Department. As a member of our team, your primary focus will be on delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers playing a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have access to a wide variety of quality bakery products. 

Successful candidates will be required to provide excellent customer service, maintain a positive attitude, thrive under pressure, and exhibit physical agility and positivity. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to cultivate relationships with regular customers, providing them with the exceptional experience they deserve. We are looking for someone that has had previous bakery experience. 

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Producing a part range of quality baked goods 
• Meeting company objectives in productivity, quality and presentation 
• Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship 
• Follow recipes to produce high-quality, delicious products. 

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following key abilities:

• A passion for baking
• A trade qualification or significant relevant experience
• Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment 
• Physically fit and high level of personal presentation 
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Reliable, organised and good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills

The successful applicant must have a full license as the hours required are early morning starts. 

Availability over the Christmas and New Year period is a must. 

The hours for the role are: 

Monday: 4.00am-12.30pm 

Tuesday: 4.00am-12.30pm

Wednesday: 4.00am-12.30pm

Thursday: 4.00am-12.30pm

Sunday: 4.00am-12.30pm
