Asset Coordinator
About the role:
As an Asset Coordinator, you’ll support the day to day management and performance of our retail property assets. You’ll work closely with the Portfolio Services Manager and wider Property team to ensure properties are well maintained, commercially sound, and delivering strong outcomes for store owner / operators.
You’ll be involved across leasing, facilities management, contractor coordination, and financial processes, while also contributing to continuous improvement of property systems and ways of working. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role suited to someone who enjoys collaborating with others to keep things moving.
This is a 12 month fixed term role covering Parental Leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day to day management of retail property assets, including leasing, maintenance, and facilities management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Store Owners, tenants, landlords, contractors, and external agencies.
- Coordinate and manage contractors to ensure maintenance and facilities works are delivered safely, on time, and to standard.
- Assist with commercial leasing activities, including lease administration and renewals.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial processes, including cash flow management and cost tracking.
About you:
You’re confident, outgoing and naturally build strong relationships with people at all levels. You’re commercial minded and enjoy problem solving and take pride in keeping things organised and running. Ideally you’ll also have:
- Experience or exposure to retail property, asset coordination or facilities management
- A solid understanding of commercial leasing and property financial processes
- Strong negotiation skills and the confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with the desire to improve processes and ways of working
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
