Service Deli Manager – New World Rangiora

Do you love food? A passionate foodie who enjoys creating and developing culinary delights? We are now seeking a full time Service Deli Manager to join our fantastic team.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful team who produce a wide range of products each day for our loyal and supportive customers. 

 

The Service Deli Manager reports to the Fresh Foods Manager.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring excellent Customer Service is delivered
  • Managing and Supervising team members
  • Food planning, preparation, production and presentation
  • Food Safety and Health & Safety
  • Ordering stock and liaising with suppliers
  • Achieving set targets 
  • Training and Development of the team.

 

To be a good fit for this role you would have previous experience with:

  • Team management or supervising
  • Candidates should be able to effectively communicate with a diverse range of people
  • Competent using computers and computer systems 
  • Ordering and stock management
  • Assisting with the management of food safety and health and safety
  • A background in food production and cooking, as we make an extensive range of in-house products.

 

The role is a full-time position, days and hours will be discussed during interviews. The hours of work will require some flexibility to work early mornings and assist when necessary.
