What You’ll Be Doing:
- Customer Service Superstar: Deliver friendly and efficient service, helping customers with their deli needs and offering expert advice on our range of fresh, high-quality products.
- Food Prep Pro: Get hands-on preparing our famous Bishopdale New World rotisserie chickens to perfection, along with other mouth-watering deli offerings—always ensuring top-notch quality and consistency.
- Quality Control Champion: Keep our food safe and delicious by following our strict food safety program, ensuring that we meet the highest standards for our customers’ wellbeing.
- Clean & Tidy: Maintain a clean, organised work area, including your equipment and display cases, to keep the deli looking great and welcoming for customers.
- Closing the Department: As part of the role, you’ll be responsible for closing the deli at the end of your shift ensuring everything is cleaned, sanitized and ready for the next day’s customers and team.
- Team Player: Collaborate with your team to keep things running smoothly and efficiently, and step in wherever needed across the store.
Hours:
- Role 1: Friday & Saturday | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Role 2: Friday & Sunday | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
About You:
- Customer Service Pro: You’re passionate about making customers smile and go the extra mile to ensure their experience is top tier.
- Attention to Detail: You take pride in preparing high-quality food and ensure everything is presented beautifully and meets our standards.
- Team-Oriented: You're a team player who thrives in a collaborative setting but can also take the lead when needed.
- Safety Minded: You understand and follow food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of health and safety.
- Physically Fit: This role requires being on your feet for the majority of the day, with some lifting (up to 20kg), so you’re ready to stay active and energized!
- Great Vibes: Your positive attitude and enthusiasm help create a fun, lively atmosphere for both customers and colleagues.
- A True Foodie: You love food and understand that the deli is at the heart of New World’s kitchen, bringing joy to customers with every meal!
