To support our team, we are looking for a dedicated Laundry Assistant to manage the laundering of team uniforms and cleaning items. If you're reliable, efficient, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love for you to join us!
The Laundry Assistant will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing team uniforms, aprons, towels, and other cleaning items used throughout the supermarket. Ensuring that uniforms and cleaning supplies are kept in top condition and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, and fold team uniforms, aprons, towels, and cleaning items
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and ensure all equipment is in working order
- Ensure all items are returned in excellent condition and ready for use by Team
- Report any damaged or worn-out items for replacement
- Follow safety and operational procedures in handling laundry
Requirements:
- Prior experience in laundry or cleaning is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow laundry instructions
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
