Grocery 2IC Full time - New World Kaiapoi

Are you looking to progress your career within the supermarket industry? New World Kaiapoi has an exciting opportunity for a newly created role of Grocery 2IC to join our crew.

Your key responsibilities and requirements will be:

• Motivate, lead and support the team / Rostering
• Replenishing shelves and displays
• Ensure high standards of merchandising and presentation are achieved and maintained
• Identifying items requiring replenishment
• Building displays
• Out of stock process and reaching targets
• Helping customers
• Ensuring all departments are maintaining appropriate store display standards
• Maximising sales and achieving specified profit margins whilst managing expenses, stock levels and the department team to ensure our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience

About you:

• Customer focused, enthusiastic with a positive attitude is a must
• You will have a minimum of 2 years grocery experience
• Previous leadership experience essential
• You thrive on the fast pace of retail and understand the value you can bring to the customer and store
• Self-starter, team player, great communicator and able to think on your feet and multitask.
• Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items

Hours of work:

40 hours a week (Sunday to Thursday)
