Join our passionate Fresh Food team in the Service Deli at New World Timaru. This is a permanent, full-time position where you can put your love for food to good use. You'll be part of a dedicated team that create high-quality, in-store products, which keep our customers coming back. New World Timaru is more than just a supermarket. As a locally owned, family-run business, we’re a hub for the community, with a strong focus on supporting both our team and customers.

You'll have set hours working Sunday - Thursday, 4:00am - 12:30pm, providing structure and reliability to your week.

• Ability to follow a strict food control plan. 
• A positive attitude and genuine passion for customer service. 
• Team player who can also excel when working independently. 
• Reliability, physical fitness (you’ll be on your feet all day with some heavy lifting), and attention to detail. 
• Initiative to plan and prioritize your day, with every day offering something new. 
• Willingness to learn and grow.
