Assistant Buyer - New World Northwood

 

We are looking for an Assistant buyer to assist our main buyer in ensuring that we are able to provide our customers with an outstanding range of quality products.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Ensuring that New World Northwood has sufficient stock to meet the needs of our customers
  • Liaise with suppliers to bring New World Northwood shoppers the best possible product prices.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers and sales reps through presenting a welcoming, friendly and helpful manner.

 

Hours 

Full time “hours and days to be discussed at interview”

 

About you 

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in a supermarket environment.
  • Previous purchasing and inventory control experience.
  • Solid computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheets.
