Fulltime position

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, enthusiastic person to Lead our busy Deli Department at PAK’n SAVE Blenheim.

Our Deli assistants are at the heart of our Deli team! Your role is to manage the team to prioritise with the production of our delicious instore-made products.  The team will be working in an experienced & skilled team. If you're looking to learn the trade, there'll be no better place!

Ideally, we are seeking someone with experience working in a kitchen or a true foodie who is willing to put their skills to great use.

Soft skills needed:

• Communication: Clear and effective communication with your team and customers is crucial
• Leadership: Inspiring and motivating your team, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment
• Customer Service: Ensuring customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and handling complaints gracefully
• Problem-Solving: Quickly addressing issues and finding effective solutions to keep operations running smoothly

Hard skills needed:

• Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Food Preparation Techniques: Knowledge of proper food handling and preparation methods
• Supplier Coordination: Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products
• Staff Management: Hiring, training, and scheduling staff to ensure efficient operations

This position involves: 

• Preparation and handling of food product
• Packaging and presentation of products
• Ticketing and pricing of products
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Maintaining our high standard of cleanliness and hygiene

There is currently full-time position available. Happy to discuss days and times.
