Grocery Assistant & Storeperson - PAK'nSAVE Blenheim

Grocery assistant, forklift driver and store person.

 

Do we have variety for you! Work across all our Dry Goods departments on any given day – no one day will necessarily be the same. Work alongside your peers to fill the shop for our customers. 

 

This Full-Time position calls for someone reliable, efficient and who loves to work with and help customers and our community. 

 

We are focused on Customer service and our culture first and foremost. We want you to be happy coming to work and just as happy going home and work hard to provide the right environment for you to do that in. 

 

You must be honest and reliable. Enthusiasm is a must along with great organisational skills. 

 

Daily key tasks:

 

  • Stock rotation
  • Stock filling
  • Stock movement
  • Loss prevention through safe stock handling
  • Workplace Health & Safety and Food Safety compliance
  • Comfortable working on ladders 

 

Sunday: Storeroom Supervisor

 

  • Receiving and receipting delivered goods to the store
  • Maintaining a tidy and well organised storeroom and inwards goods area
  • Ensure that the storeroom operates effectively on a Sunday
  • Liaising with instore grocery team
  • Management of the storeroom team

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Inwards Goods/Storeroom experience
  • Hold a current (F) endorse Fork Lift License
  • Physically fit and healthy 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills to be able to co-ordinate daily workload requirements
  • Good attention to details
  • Computer skills
