The above position has become available within our supermarket and calls for a person who can plan, organise, lead and control the day-to-day operations of the Butchery Department. The successful applicant will need to be an experienced Butcher with excellent planning and organisational skills, including being computer literate and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Profitability.
- Production planning.
- Ensure standards of merchandising are achieved and maintained.
- The implementation and overseeing of Department Food Safety & Health requirements.
- The effective utilisation of the department’s personnel resources
- Stock ordering to meet the stores requirements
- Waste control within the Department
This role is a full-time position, which requires working one day of the weekend.
