Checkout Supervisor

As a New World Ashburton Checkout Supervisor, you will play a significant role to assist and support the team with the daily operations of our Checkout department.  We are looking for an outgoing, friendly person who enjoy’ s working with people.

To be successful, you will need to have a strong customer focus and be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• Effective communication at all levels
• Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
• Good computer skills – ability to pick up programs with ease
• High presentation standard
• Problem solving and the ability to think on your feet
• Attention to detail
• Developed organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Liquor Manager’s Certificate an advantage

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with supervising staff
• Responsibility for the sale of liquor
• Maintaining our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards
