We’re on the hunt for an energetic, passionate Bakery Manager to lead one of New World’s top-performing Bakery departments in the South Island.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for baking, this is your opportunity to shine. You’ll be at the helm of our bakery department, overseeing daily operations and ensuring our shelves are filled with fresh, high-quality baked goods that delight our customers.
Your role will include managing and supporting the production and presentation of a wide range of bakery products—from crusty sourdoughs to sweet treats. A flair for creativity and a strong commitment to customer service are essential, as we pride ourselves on innovation and exceeding customer expectations.

What We’re Looking For:
- Industry Trade Qualification in Baking or equivalent experience
- A passion for outstanding customer service
- Proven ability to meet and exceed financial performance targets
- Strong leadership with integrity and initiative
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills
- Creative mindset with a love for innovation in baking
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
- Physically fit and ready for hands-on work
