Duty Manager - Four Square Arrowtown

We are proud to be Arrowtown’s only fully stocked supermarket catering for locals and travellers with a wide range of products. We are known NZ wide for our exceptional customer service and beautiful store. 

“Full, Fresh and Facing out” is what we strive our store to always look like so we are looking for a Duty Manager whose values for exceptional customer service and attention to detail align to ours, and who will support and enrich our team.

Your role:

• Directing, supervising, supporting and leading by example to fill the store, serve customers and maintain our high standard of cleanliness throughout. 
• Providing high quality customer service to our valued customers and training to staff do the same.
• Undertake necessary admin roles of the store including health and safety.
• Date checks, promotions and markdowns of stock when required.

What we require:

• A Duty Manager's Certificate or LCQ is ideal but for the right person we will assist with this.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Great communication skills and an ability to effectively lead a team with a positive attitude and a high level of energy.
• Be mature, assertive and confident with a proven ability to diffuse any difficult situations in a calm manner.
• The ability to multi task with a smile on your face. 
• Be observant and detail orientated. 

Hours:

• Full-time
• Specific hours to be discussed at the interview stage but weekend work will be required.
